Short Sales-

In our current market short sales are become more common place.  As a buyer you need to educate yourself on just what a short sale is and if the process is something you are willing to go through before considering the purchase of one of these homes!

 

Below are some great articles on just what is involved with a short sale and what it means in our current market.  Because it is still a fairly new trend in our current market place the banks are not in a postion to handle the overwhelming volume of the short sales they are faced with.  As a buyer this means that if you make an offer on one of these properties it could be many months before your offer is even LOOKED AT by the bank...

Some short sales are a very good deal, but know going in that it could be a very lengthy and stressful process that in the end may put you right back where you started...back on the house hunting path!
